12/29 So Levi survived our 48 hour Christmas marathon (6 events in two days) only to get hit with a doctors visit. He was not pleased for many hours afterwards but we are pleased that he is growing at an appropriate rate.

12/16 So he is interested in whatever Mommy and Daddy are useing and wants to do the same, cameras, phones, computers, food, and now he has got to the shoes. Here is a video (4 megs) to check out. The socks on his hands are his most favorite sock puppets. Levi in shoes video. As you see in the video, it has become very hard to take his picture because whenever he sees the camera he comes running to look at the screen.

12/7 What's new? more and more understanding every day. Sometimes that helps to give him some patience, but he's always hungry so long suffering is not a common discriptor. Yes, he is starting to get some attitude so we are already in prime teaching mode, we'll know in a couple of years how we are doing now. It's snowing tonight, we are curious to see what Levi thinks about it tomorrow now that he can walk around in it.

11/26 Our camera is back and has some fine footage but here are some pictures from the archives (meaning like withen the last few months) that we recently got from Granmma Martin.

11/15 Levi just got back from his second plane adventure with his Mom and Grandma, he enjoyed being able to run on and on at the airport and to see his PA family. He moves his legs at a very high cadence, fortunatley his legs are short so he doesn't outrun us yet. Our otherwise faithful camera is off getting repaired so no pic's from Mom of the trip.

10/29 Levi is figuring out words and likes to say them a lot. we have officially determined that his first consistantly used and understood spoken word was book. His second is probably Help which is used when he wants help getting food onto his spoon. Hi and Hi there are also ones he usually uses in the right place. He likes to mimic lots of other words but doesn't necessarily use them in their normal English context.

10/22 So many changes are going on. It is amayzing to be a part of the process. He now brings you the book he wants you to read. It is usally the same book you read to him 5 minutes ago. He has gotten the hang of feeding himself his squash and homeade applesauce. (not usually together) It's not elegant but most of it gets inside.

10/10 Sorry it's been so long, our regular computer is down and the software (and most of the pic's and videos) I usually use is on that machine. I guess that will teach me to do better backing up. Anyways, things are well. Levi has landed his first job, as a sales ambassador/entertainer for Omer and Bobs (see pic.)

9/21 So, full on Toddlerhood. Despite the walking and added hand dexterity, things are still under control. Everyone has different ages when their kids almost did them in. He has a cold now so it's pretty intensive, but otherwise all clear.

9/5 The transition to walking is being made. he is starting to use walking for the purpose of wandering around as opposed to an occasional point to point adventure. It's just about 3 months from the time he first took steps to now. Check out the video here. Levi Walking (1meg)

8/31 Let see, Some molars have come in, he was bumming for a couple of days. He has been known to eat a whole banana for a after meal snack, and he would rather be fed than feed himself.

8/22 Levi has reached the big 1.0. We had a family party last Sunday to mark the occasion. We ended up with carrot cake, which went over well. Levi figures that crawling is pretty cool and that he doesn't need to walk much really.

8/11 Eleven days to birthday number 1. I'm not sure what to do for a cake. God has blessed us in so many ways in this past year, it has been amayzing.

8/2 So we finally got Levi's trailer here a week ago. Just in time for some hot weather, but he enjoys it a lot. When we go too slow he just falls asleep. We couldn't get it through the shop as Burly was backed up like 2 months so we searched Ebay land for a good deal. I was amayzed that the Chariot brand (what we would have bought if we had the money) of trailers were selling used for nearly retail price on Ebay.

7/26 So Levi took the long drive out to Ohio well. We were generously hosted by a couple of Carmen's friends midway out and back so that eased the journey.

7/2 levi has started to crawl officially as of 6/25. Here is the vid. It's just over 2 megs. Levi crawling

As of June 8 is the first day Levi has taken steps by himself. He has partially learned this inchworm like crawl but mostly he skoochs around. All of the sudden these different skills he has been figuring out are coming together and he is rapidly becoming mobile.
